We celebrated our first birthday this week, with a delicious homemade cake, singing and reading a favourite book ‘Happy Birthday Spot’.
The Lodge has seen numbers of children grow steadily since its opening last year, and is now almost at capacity.
Amanda Childs, Head of Ipswich Prep School, who oversaw the development of The Lodge, said: “We are delighted with the success of The Lodge – the feedback from parents has been incredibly positive, and we know the children are happy too from the smiles we get every day.”
Hayley List, Manager of the Lodge added: “The children enjoy so many different activities, making the most of our surroundings, and it is wonderful to see them grow and develop with us. Thanks must go to the whole staff team who work so hard – not only the childcare professionals working directly with the children, but also the office staff and our dedicated cook who produces tasty nutritious meals – and our special birthday cake!”
