About us

The Lodge Day Nursery offers exceptional childcare provision for children aged 3 months to 4 years, in the centre of Ipswich. With professional, qualified staff and a caring, supportive setting, your child is in the best possible hands.

Our Nursery welcomes the whole family to join us in partnership to ensure your child feels safe, secure and to let your little one discover new adventures, learn, grow, and thrive.

Situated close to Ipswich School, near Christchurch Park, The Lodge is easily accessible in the heart of Ipswich.

The attractive building offers bright, spacious rooms, a large garden and outdoor environment to play in and free car parking spaces to drop off your child.

There are four age ranges: Discoverers, Explorers, Adventurers and Pre School, and your child will move onto the next stage when they are ready. Our specially designed rooms provide the perfect environment for each age range and children always have regular access to our spacious garden and outdoor area.

Our delicious food is locally sourced and cooked on the premises by our own chef. We provide food, selected nappies and milk so you don’t have to worry about bringing things in.

The Nursery is open all year round (apart from Christmas week and a week in August) from 7.30am until 6.00pm. We also offer the option of a term time only place for families with children already at Ipswich Prep/Ipswich School.

Our staff and keyworkers

Leading the way in childcare, we employ a highly qualified team of Early Years Practitioners.

We provide expert, personalised care for your child, with at least one key person buddy to meet them each day who will help them to settle in.

For younger children we will follow the same established routine as you do at home, each child has their own cot and you can bring in your own bed linen to ensure they feel like it is a home from home.
